K-8 Summer Camp Overview 

Summer CampA variety of different activities will be offered such as traditional sports, game room, art classes and projects, guest entertainment, weekly outings plus much more. Campers will be given the opportunity to experience a positive environment and develop friendships that will increase their self-esteem, boost their confidence and develop their independence.

Our mission is to foster your child’s life skills and abilities; our ways and structure to attain them are unlimited!

Camper to professional adult staff ratio: 8 to 1


Snack will be provided. All campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch every day.

Extended Care Hours

Early drop-off is available at 7:30 AM and late pick up is also available until 5:30 PM.

Payment/Due Date

To guarantee a slot for summer camp, please register and pay by May 15th, 2017.  After that, enrollment is subject to availability.

Program and Costs

Ke Kula Pa’ani Summer Camp will occur for six weeks at Assets School: 
June 12-15, June 18-22, June 25-29, July 2-6, July 19-13, July 16-20.

Full Day Program *$350 a week From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with extended morning and afternoon care hours available at no additional cost. 

Half Day Program *$175 a week From 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. with extended afternoon care hours available at no additional cost.

* Price includes camp t-shirt, daily snacks and cost of weekly outings

Each week consists of 1 cultural, 2 sport and 2 craft activities. Classes are subject to change and not limited to the above due to enrollment and camper satisfaction.

Examples of Planned Wednesday Outings (TBD) Week 1 – Ice Palace Week 2 – Papahana Kuaola (Kaneohe, Loi Patch) Week 3 – Bishop Museum Week 4 – UH Manoa Pool Party Week 5 – Honolulu Zoo Week 6 – Living Art Marine Center, Beach Day.  Parents will be allowed to pick their camper up directly from each outing by following sign out procedures at the site.


Camp Coordinators

Camp Director

Branden Kawazoe, from Hilo, received his Bachelor’s degree from Pacific University in Oregon and his Master’s degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu. He is currently a 9th grade counselor and Head Men’s Varsity Basketball Coach at Kaiser High School. He has been the Assets Summer Camp Director for the past five years.
